How to measure necklace in United states
In the United States, necklace sizes are measured by length in inches. To find the right size:
- Use a flexible measuring tape (or wrap a piece of string around your neck and then measure the string with a ruler).
- Measure around your neck where you want the necklace to sit.
- Add:
- 2 inches for a comfortable choker fit.
- 4 inches or more for a standard necklace fit.
Here are the most common U.S. necklace lengths:
